rockville: What if Home Prices Decline? - 10/20/11 06:32 PM
What if Home Prices Decline? There are several ways to look at your real estate investment. One of them is as a cash machine. Unfortunately, those days are over. Another way to look at is is a long term solid investment. Truly after 15-30 years (depending on your mortgage) you will have enjoyed a tax deduction, have a home paid for free and clear - your only responsibilities will be: Maintenance Taxes Insurance If you pay rent for 30 years: Additional moving and redecorating costs Rents will Increase You will have nothing to show for it You will not

rockville: Another Mandatory Water Restriction in Montgomery County, MD - 07/26/10 08:01 AM
Late last night, the local water authority WSSC issued another mandatory water restriction for Montgomery County & Prince George's County, MD. Just a couple of weeks ago there was a restriction over the long and very hot 4th of July Weekend - because of a water main that was showing signs of failure. The NEW water restriction, which was issued late last evening, is related to the severe thunderstorm we had yesterday, it apparently knocked out power to the River Road filtration plant for several hours. This plant processes about 70% of the water for 1.8 million customers. WSSC says the

Marcie makes some great points - in any market the really good and well priced homes sell fast. Via Marcie Sandalow - Evers & Co. Real Estate, Inc. DC/MD ( Evers & Company Real Estate, Inc. ): The house you fell in love with today... You hear it all the time... "Oh- we made an offer on a great house, but we didn't get it." The reasons can run the gamut: We were overbid. Our price was too low/theirs was too high, and in the end we couldn't make it work. The inspection came up with too many "items". (and,

rockville: What's in a Name? - 02/05/10 10:31 AM
