Naples, FL is something of a contradiction. It can be a one moment a sleepy, quiet town. In the next, it's a 280,000 strong community of executives coming to stay in their myriad of Naples vacation homes. In the winter, the temperature stays a balmy 80+, which is a nice break from the cold North. Cypress line gated communities, but it's Main Street where you can see the most action.
Stroll through the town and take in all the cultural activities to be had, including dining and plenty of art galleries. Or, grab the golf clubs and head out to the course. There's plenty to be had since it has the second largest number of golf courses per person behind Myrtle Beach. But, just be forewarned before you head to Naples, FL. The town closes its doors by 10:30 pm.
