On Saturday, June 6th, 2009, the town of Milton, Delaware was abuzz. All 850 tickets were sold out for the 6th Annual Summer Bash happening right in the heart of town. Last year the event was a fundraiser to elect Jack Markell the next Governor of Delaware. This year, Governor Jack Markell welcomed all and hosted this year's fundraiser for the Food Bank of Delaware!
It was a beautiful day with temperatures in the 70s, not the sizzling 90s of last year's bash. The talent this year - PAM TILLIS - probably had something to do with the size of the crowd.
