I do hope the skies are clear and the sun comes out for our parade in Bristol. “I cannot believe there has been this much rain in the sky, and it’s all coming down on Rhode Island” PLEASE DON'T RAIN ON OUR PARADE!

DID YOU KNOW?
The States that ban all consumer fireworks are (5) Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey.
For those of you in the 39 states that allow fireworks, please be careful. Fireworks are fun but they can definitely be dangerous.
A few tips on what to do to make sure that you have a great time at your fireworks display show this 4th of July celebration in your state.
- CHAIRS: Make sure you bring some chairs for the entire family. Most of the time you will find yourself relaxing and looking into the sky as you enjoy the fireworks show.
- DRINKS: Bring a cooler with drinks for the family. Many times these fireworks shows get extremely full and you are left to park on the side of the road and try to enjoy the show. Just make sure you are ready.
- TIMING: Make sure you know the time when the fireworks start. The worst thing is missing out on fireworks because you have the time incorrect.
- CLOTHING: Depending on where you live, pay careful attention to the weather. You want to enjoy this day, so make sure you dress appropriately based on the weather.
