Nineteen Ridgewood Homes Sold Over Past Three Weeks and Twenty Two  Went "Under Contract"

ridgewood-market-heats-up-july

The Ridgewood Real Estate market seems to be heating up even though the summer is traditionally a slower time for home sales.  I've noticed this in general and specifically with the Ridgewood Homes that I am marketing. Three of the Ridgewood Homes I am marketing recently went "under contract" very quickly - with multiple offers. I'd like to say this is solely due to my marketing skills but even I would say an improving market must have something to do with it.

We're seeing that here, too, in Silicon Valley.

Multiple offers in entry level houses of $300,000 to $400,000 getting scooped up by all cash investors, making it VERY hard for first time home buyers to compete.

Houses under $500,000 are selling with multiple offers if they're well priced.

The market starts cooling at around $600,00 or so and gets cooler and cooler from there. Homes are still selling but far fewer with multiple offers.

Nice to see at least some "bottom" happening!
