Fall vegetable garden planting dates have arrived for San Antonio and the surrounding area. Bexar County Extension Agent David Rodriguez and vegetable specialist Dr. Jerry Parsons have published "Fall Vegetable Varieties" so gardeners will know when to plant from seed and transplants.
The dates provided in the guide are for sowing seeds. Transplants must be used, according to the authors, when it is too late to plant by seed.
