Licensed Appraisers Upgrading to Certified Residential

If you have taken R3 & R4, you may contact NYS and file. You are grandfathered from new regs. If you have not taken R3 and R4, and need the new education, here it is: R-1 waives R5, R2 waives R6, USPAP waived New USPAP

Fair Housing, Lending & Environmental Issues (RE-2) 20 hours...........$ 350   $325**  9/8, 9, 10 (6-10:30pm) +  9/12 (8-3pm) (At beginning or end)***

Residential Market Analysis and Highest/best Use (R-7) 15 hours........  $ 275  $150**   10/5, 6, 7, 8, (6-10:30pm)

Residential Appraiser Site Valuation and Cost Approach (R-8) 15 hrs.   $ 275   $150**   10/12, 13, 14, 15 (6-10:30pm)

Residential Sales Comparison and Income Approach (R-9) 30 hours.... $ 400  $300**  10/19, 20, 21, 22 (6-10:30pm)  10/24 (8-5pm) 10/25 (8-11am)

Residential Report Writing and Case Studies (R-10) 15 hours............... $ 275   $150**  10/26, 27, 28 (6-10:30pm)  10/31

Statistics, Modeling and Finance (SMF) 15 hours................................    $ 350. $250**  11/2, 3, 4, 5, (6-10:30pm)

Advanced Residential Applications and Case Studies (R-11) 15 hours.. $ 350  $250**  11/9, 10, 11, 12, (6-10:30pm)

You can enroll in any class, 1 at a time. The tuition is the 1st $. If you take all classes, you pay the 2nd tuition per class.

**College is an added requirement, and New York State requires the following College courses (or CLEP Exams accepted by a college such as Empire State University)   1. English Composition  2. Economics (Micro or Macro)   3. Finance    4. College Math Course (ie: Algebra, Geometry, etc)

5. Statistics            6. Intro to Computer or Word Processing/Spreadsheets  7. Business or Real Estate Law
