I want to know how many agents are still....

Real Estate Agent with John L. Scott

Advertising in real estate magazines or newspapers? I used to do the Real Estate Book for years, and then when the market started going quite a bit downhill, I got rid of the $500 a month bill for a full page monthly ad. The calls had long since dried up and I was wondering if all buyers were doing everything online now.

So who still advertises each and every month in real estate magazines and why do you keep at it? Which magazines are working for you and about how many deals a year do you realistically close from it?

Not everyone has been a party to over 125 deals in a career, which is the case for myself. Some haven't even done 25 I'm sure. So when you don't have a past clientel that keeps you busy with their calls, you HAVE to get your name out somehow. Is print media a big part of that for you newer agents?
