VERNON JARRETT (Valerie's' Father-in-law)

Her former father-in-law is the late Vernon Jarrett, who was a venerated Chicago Sun-Times columnist, one of the few highly visible African Americans in the Chicago media establishment.

Vernon Jarrett worked in the South Side Community Art Center and on the black run Chicago Defender newspaper.

The Communist Party had several cadre in both organizations, including a covert member, the black poet and journalist Frank Marshall Davis.

Tom Ayers: President and CEO of Commonwealth Edison from 1973 to 1980, Thomas Ayers was a lifelong liberal and a prominent Chicago businessman.

Referred to as the Godfather of Chicago politics and power, Ayers served on the boards of G.D. Searle, Chicago Pacific Corporation, Zenith Corporation, Northwest Industries, First National Bank of Chicago and the Tribune Company (which owned the Chicago Tribune), and worked with many nonprofit organizations including Chicago United, Community Renewal Society, the Chicago Community Trust, the Chicago Chamber of Commerce and the Chicago Urban League that were designed to help inner city blacks.  Thomas Ayers

"...in Hawaii was an African-American poet and journalist by the name of Frank Marshall Davis, who was certainly in the orbit of the CP (Communist Party) -- if not a member -- and who was born in Kansas and spent a good deal of his adult life in Chicago, before decamping to Honolulu in 1948 at the suggestion of his good friend (and Communist Party member) Paul Robeson. Eventually, he befriended another family -- a Euro-American family -- that had migrated to Honolulu from Kansas and a young woman from this family eventually had a child with a young student from Kenya East Africa who goes by the name of Barack Obama, who retracing the steps of Davis eventually decamped to Chicago. In his best selling memoir ‘Dreams of my Father', the author speaks warmly of an older black poet, he identifies simply as "Frank" as being a decisive influence in helping him to find his present identity as an African-American...."

In doing research I came upon an article which alleges that Davis was the real father of Barack Obama.  It is impossible to substantiate since records are not available. I have no opinion whether it is fact or fiction.

Every body knows everyone else.  Everyone is in bed politically with everone else. Valerie Jarrett is Obama's right hand person and adviser.  One does not need a road map to connect the dots.
