Okay guys and gals! There is so much talent and so many awesome, original photographs here in the Rain that I thought many of you would want to give this a try.
The Nature Conservancy is currently accepting photos for its Fourth Annual Photo Contest! 
They are looking for beautiful nature photography representing the diversity of life on Earth. Your original digital images of our lands, waters, plants, animals and people in nature are all eligible for the competition!
According to their website, "We are especially interested in images that showcase the wide range of habitats across our planet, including all types of forests, grasslands, lakes and rivers, deserts and arid lands, rainforests, marine habitats and coral reefs in all seasons and around the world."
The winner's image will be printed in the 2011 Nature Conservancy calendar and will be featured on The Nature Conservancy's website, nature.org.
And entering your photo is really easy. To enter one or more images, upload your photo(s) to the Conservancy's FlickrTM group and tag them with PhotoContest-TNC09 ... how easy is that!
Some of the fine print to this contest is that all entries must be submitted/uploaded by 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time on September 30, 2009. And you do retain ownership and full rights to all images submitted, but grant The Nature Conservancy the right to use your images in support of the Conservancy's mission.
Seems pretty painless, but the deadline is not very far away. If you'd like to enter, get your photos in now!
