Letter To FSBO

By
Real Estate Agent with Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty

Here is a letter you could use for contacting FSBO --- Enjoy.........

I noticed that you are currently trying to sell your own home, and I wish you the best of luck. It's a simple fact that in today's world, people are busier and more pressed for time than ever before. That's why I would like to take a moment to thank you for your time - it would truly be a pleasure meeting with you to discuss your needs, and would greatly appreciate your time and interest. When we have clearly established your needs, I want you to know that I am prepared to give 110% as your Realtor to help you achieve your real estate goals. I will provide you with every possible option so that together, we can best decide upon the path that will be most beneficial to you.

Buying and selling real estate is not always easy, and at some point you may decide to enlist the services of a Real Estate Professional. I want you to succeed at selling your home yourself, and I am willing to help you because there are many other ways I can be of service to you. It is possible that when your property sells, you will need my services to purchase a new home. You may know of other people interested in buying or selling property that you can refer to me, or you may decide to list your home with me if you do not sell it yourself.

During the next several days, you will be hearing from a number of real estate agents. The reason they will be calling is to convince you to list your home with them. I would like to help you in a different way. I realize that time is important to you, with your permission I will stop by within a day or two to drop off some material that may assist you in the sale of your home. Until then, if I can answer any questions for you, feel free to call me. My number is on my card for your convenience. Please feel free to tell other agents who call that you are working with Anthony Stokes Pereira of your Prudential Rand Realty. This will generally cut short any questions they have and will allow you to spend time marketing your home

With great enthusiasm, I am looking forward to meeting you! In my business, I meet many people - but I want you to know that from a professional and personal standpoint, I feel that serving as your Realtor would be a wonderful and successful experience. Thank you so much for your time! I look forward to helping you achieve your real estate goals.

Please contact me today, or visit my Web site at www.anthonystokespereira.com so that we can take the first steps toward reaching your dreams.

Sincerely,

Anthony this is a very good letter which should yield results.  It must be working because you are sharing it and that's what this network is all about.

Anthony

What material do you drop off for them? Do you make an appointment,or just stop by? If they aren't home do you leave the material, or come back when they are home?

Good letter, but do you think it might be a little too long? I was always instructed that with FSBO's you should keep it short and simple.

Anthony... GREAT LETTER!!!  I really love that 3rd paragraph and the part that says "feel free" to tell other agents that they are working with you to get rid of them.  I love it!  I also like how its not all about you but what you want to do for them.  That seems to be key!  How is this letter working for you so far?

Great letter and very professional sounding, but I would love to know what your conversion rate is from the letter. I am presently at about 1% from actually talking directly to the FSBO, by knocking on the door?

I would love to try a letter like this on the homes that I don't make personal contact with, just to pick up a few possible sales would be nice.

Thank you for your comments.. Well the purpose of the FSBO letter is to get an appointment, I would take along a short form CMA on my first visit and try to get to know the seller, view the property, take some pictures and try to get the listing.... if I don't, my next visit would be the seller marketing proposal....Good Luck!

Great letter and thanks for sharing.  How does one get around most being registered on the Do Not Call Registry?
