THE SAFE SCHOOLS CZAR
KEVIN JENNINGS
He is a former schoolteacher who has advocated promoting homosexuality in schools, written about his past drug abuse, expressed his contempt for religion and detailed an incident in which he did not report an underage student who told him he was having sex with older men.
As a 24 year old teacher a high school sophomore came to him and admitted he was meeting older men in a bus station to engage in homosexual sex. Jennings advised the student to be sure he wore a condom. The youth remarked that he was not concerned - life was not worth living.
He certainly failed this student.
He hid Pedophilia. He allowed a troubled youth to continue unsafe homosexual encounters.
He failed to recognize that the student might have suicidal tendency.
All he did - recommend the use of a condom.
He did not alert the authorities. Did not encourage the student to get psychiatric help. He did not alert any school official or the parents of this child.
This is the man Obama has chosen to make your schools safe. Isn't that comforting? Do you want him to have anything to do with your children?
- "Jennings was appointed to the position largely because of his longtime record of working to end bullying and discrimination in schools. In 1990, as a teacher in Massachusetts, he founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which now has over 40 chapters at schools nationwide. He has also published six books on gay rights and education, including one that describes his own experiences as a closeted gay student." (Source)
- "Jennings is responsible for promoting safe and drug- free schools. Now he's a unique choice for the job considering his own history of drug and alcohol abuse, which he describes in his own autobiography."
1999 Jennings wrote the foreword to a book called "Queering Elementary Education."
On the back cover of the book is a blurb extolling the text as "An important contribution to nourishing the ethical heart of teaching." By none other than BILL AYERS. (Source)
Does that name sound familiar? Obama says of Bill Ayers - "he's just a guy in my neighborhood".
- Mr. Jennings has made several television appearances as an advocate and spokesperson for LGBT youth. He is also the author of several books including:
- Becoming Visible: A Reader in Gay & Lesbian History for High School and College Students;
- One Teacher in Ten: Gay and Lesbian Educators Tell Their Stories;
- Telling Tales Out of School: Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual People Remember Their School Years; and
- Always My Child: A Parent’s Guide to Understanding Your Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender or Questioning Son or Daughter.
- Mr. Jennings also wrote and produced the historical documentary Out of the Past, which won the 1998 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award for Best Documentary.(Source GLSEN)
