Through Friday, October 30. Walk Your Way Across the USA! Come experience a hands-on, "FEET-on" geography lesson! EdVenture Children's Museum will house a 26x35 foot map of North America courtesy of National Geographic and the Center for Excellence for Geographic Education at USC. What better way to teach your child the power of maps than a gym-sized map on which they can explore by hopping from place to place? Friday, October 30-Sunday, November 1. Doll Show! This year's Doll Expo will feature several different doll artists and manufacturers like Linda Rick, Elizabeth Dye, Joy Joco and many more! There will be numerous quality dealers with a great selection of dolls and accessories available too! Hall of Horrors | Haunted Attraction | Are you safe or is it a trap? 

Opening, Friday, October 30. Extremities. William Mastrosimone's controversial play, which was the first show at the Assembly St. home of Trustus Theatre, returns for our 25th season. Follow three young women in their own pursuit of justice as they decide what to do with the captured would-be rapist in their apartment. Visit Trustus Theatre for more information. 

Friday, October 30. Justin Smith and the Folk Hop Band Live! Justin Smith's writing style is similar in many ways to folk music, in that he writes songs for common folks dealing with the everyday struggles of life. Where he differs from his folk predecessors, is in his vocal delivery, "rap" and his hip-hop drum production, bringing his own sound, "Folk-Hop", to the stage. Check out Justin Smith and the Folk Hop Band online. The Historic Columbia Speedway is where this amazing act will perform so bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics, but no coolers please! The Reid's Rock'n' on the Raceway Concert Series is produced by the West Metro Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center, the Historic Columbia Speedway Marketing Group and is presented by Vista Art. 6:30-9 pm. At this Friday's Wine tasting we will be Pouring Chocovine, Vignale Pinot Grigio, Eola Hills Pinot Noir, Quinta do Crasto Douro, with a special pouring of Quinta do Crasto Douro Reserva. The tasting will run 4-7pm and is free of Charge. Friday's Spirits Tasting will be Van gogh Caramel Vodka, Berentzen apple, and iceberg vodka, and will run from 4-7pm. This open-air market features fresh produce, baked goods, specialty gifts, art, photography, handmade crafts, and much more from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The market will be held on Boyd Plaza in front of the Columbia Museum of Art at the corner of Main and Hampton Streets in downtown Columbia. Join us for a fun-filled Halloween event with carnival games, a bounce house, face painting, a balloon artist and magician, pumpkin decorating and many more activities. Concessions will be available for purchase. Admission is Free! Game tickets are 6 for $1.00, with all games needing 1 to 2 tickets. The Bounce House is 2 tickets per visit. Each child in costume will receive 1 free ticket. We will be taking canned good donations for Harvest Hope Food Bank. Bring a canned food item and receive 1 free ticket (limit 1 ticket per person).
