Looks like the price tag for Tysons Corner is rising, according to a recent column by Barbara Hollingsworthin the Washington Examiner. According to the columnist, "Walter Alcorn, vice chairman of Fairfax County's Planning Commission, finally conceded" that it may cost another $15 billion to complete Tysons Corner's plans "for roads, sidewalks, overpasses and feeder buses necessary to make Phase 1 of the Dulles Rail project a success."
The additional $15 billion is on top of the already projected $18 billion estimated cost, bringing the total cost of the project up near $40 billion, according to sources cited by Hollingsworth.
