Love Being RealtorĀ® in the Nashville TN Area!
Way to go on the YouTube posting! It's great that you can drive and talk and film yourself at the same time! BTW, you are doing all you can to communicate to your sellers. Sometimes there is nothing to report. Buyers are taking forever these days to make up their minds and write a low-ball (a lot of times) offer. BUT, if they HAVE made an offer on another house, it would be nice for their Realtor to report that to you so that your sellers would move on. Maybe that is good news that you haven't heard that there is an offer on something else! Used to live in Wilmington. Loved it! Sarah in Nashville

I had one of those last week..the agent had called two weeks earlier saying an offer was coming.  Two weeks later it arrived.  And in the interim I thought they had moved on.

Good thoughts. It is the professional standard to return phone calls, emails etc. If realtors wonder why the industry gets a bad reputation it is because of this sort of things. Your issue could have been solved with a short, quick email, but instead you have a client frustrated with you! Have a great weekend.

Jessica, thanks for your post.  I completely agree with your points here.  Most other Realtors do, but the ones that don't, make our job most difficult.

Jessica, I like your video blog and I agree. I've had that happen to me before, a quick email saying they bid on another home would only take a minute. Although in the situation you talked about, I would tell my sellers - that you did everything you could to follow up and they have not responded, they obviously aren't going to bid on our listing, lets move on & find the next buyer, if they do end up coming back - great!
