Text Message Marketing...

By
Real Estate Agent with Avery Properties

I have recently purchased a program that was in my opinion very affordable.  Very simply it is a setup like many of as have seen where you text "@#%@#" to 66361 to get info.  Each listing will have a different code and each code will send back info for its respective property.  Then it will ping me and give me the number that sent the inquiry.

Any agents had any luck or problems with this type of marketing

Yep, it has worked well for me.

I also have an 800 number, but I like the text feature better. It's more anonymous. People seem to be willing to chat more openly. They seem to freak out when I call.

I have learned to wait ahwile before I reply to either. I wait awhile and then I don't hard sell, I ask them if they have any questions, how can I help them, etc.

Good luck.

I tried it for like 2 month on a listing...didn't get any hits.... I do have some homes with better traffic I may give that a shot.

Yeah the main reason I am trying it is because I will be able to put text signs in my brokers REO listings which with an average of 20 signs in the yard at a time should drive some traffic or at least that is the hope.
