The City of Bowie Maryland has begun a green huosing rehabilitation grant program to assist seniors needing to make repairs to their primary residence. Eligible repairs includ roofing, siding, insulation, windows, doors lighting and upgrading appiance to meet Energy Star efficiance requirements. bowliehsg@cityofbowie.org or www.cityofbowie.org will have more information regarding the program. There is also a new program that will allow you to use the FHA 203K loan program to update existing property and the process is not your parents 203k program.
