Jason -- Yeah, I was really surprised by some of these numbers. LOL @ the tweeting joke. I think the funniest thing I saw on this graphic was the twitter bird crapping on the newspaper. Quite funny to me. :-)
Michelle -- That was one of the facts that really blew me away, actually. I had no idea it was that large of a discrepancy between the two. I looked for a graphic that depicted that also...Im sure there is one out there and when I find it, I will post it.
Clint ---- there is so much here that blows my mind -- the email compared to the snail mail, the # of tweets per day, the # of photos loaded on flickr daily ---wow--thanks, Clint.
Happy Holidays
Liz -- Yeah, I was in that same boat when I saw this graphic the first time. Shocking to say the least...
They must have used every crayon in the box to produce this impressive visual. My head is spinning!
This is great, Clint! Technology has really changed the way we do things, but has also created the need to balance how much we are exposed to. I'd hate to get all those emails! How many of them are spam???
Thats a real eye Opener Clint, one doesn't think of all the information and transactions being done on a daily basis while we're tweeting away. And I agree if you and Jason were to stop Blogging and Tweeting there would be a silent roar out there ;)
Bill
Marcy -- Yeah, I thought it was really impressive when I saw it. I read a stat the other day that 1 in 3 emails was spam...but, I dont know if that was made up or not. ;-)
Bill -- LOL about me and Jason. :-)
Clint - 3 million images uploaded to flickr everyday, that is the most amazing thing to me in your whole list.
You can actually still mail a letter!? I had no idea...haven't been to a post office in a looooong time!
Amy -- I only use it to ship packages. I didnt think they did letters any more. ;-)
Absolutely amazing! Gotta go... I'm still trying to get through all your Tweets for today, and look at al today's Flickr images.
Bill -- LOL! Yeah, Im a tweet-a-holic. ;-) Have you been on Posterous yet??? If you like images, thats a site you need to be on!
This truly is the INFORMATION AGE that they talked about decades ago. What's next?
