Fireworks for Nazareth, Easton and Bethlehem- 4th of July Festivities

Here we are on July 3rd, just getting ready for July 4th and we wanted to share what we have found for our area with regard to Fourth of July celebrations.

BETHLEHEM: The celebration will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday with a concert by the Bethlehem Municipal Band at Payrow Plaza, 12 E. Church St. The fireworks display will begin about 9 p.m. from Sand Island, which will close at noon.

EASTON: Fireworks will be part of Easton Heritage Day Sunday. Activities will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a service at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fourth and Ferry streets, followed by a procession to the Bachmann Publick House for a noon reading of the Declaration of Independence. There will be entertainment, children's activities and a Revolutionary War re-enactors' encampment throughout the day. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. at Riverside Park.

NAZARETH: The Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its Fourth of July celebration at 10 a.m. Wednesday with a kazoo parade forming at Nazareth Area High School on E. Center Street. A pig roast will be held noon-2 p.m at the borough park main pavilion. Entertainment will include the Nazareth Area Community Band. Tickets for the roast are $10 for adults and $5 for children 4 and under. For information, call 610-759-9188
