Pine River Ranch Hotel in Leavenworth, Washington

It's the holiday season!  Have you ever wanted to experience a true winter wonderland?  Well this weekend my husband and I did just that in a beautiful and historical hotel named Pine River Ranch located only miles outside of the unbelievably beautiful Bavarian Village of Leavenworth Washington.

When my husband told me we had to stay in Washington for our holiday I was disappointed... that is until we drove into the little town of Leavenworth!  It was like we drove right into a tiny German Village. You would never think you were on the same continent shopping in the quant little curio shops down beautiful cobblestone streets. Authentic german food is served on every corner and live music fills the air. It is truly the epitome of a Winter Wonderland!

And I haven't even described the amazing hotel we found there! Pine River Ranch! Their suites are some of the most beautiful, charming and ultimately romantic rooms of any hotel I have ever seen!

Entrance to Pine River Ranch Hotel

When I walked into our suite, the setting was so comfortable and cozy I wanted to curl up right then next to the custom built river rock fireplace. I couldn't decide if I wanted to  jump right into the immense 2 person Jacuzzi Tub! Then I saw the beautiful custom built king sized bed... I just laid back into the most comfortable thing I'd ever had the privilege of laying in. I could have slept right then.... but I was too excited! This hotel was absolutely perfect!

A soft cozy throw rug laid in front of the fireplace is perfect for cuddling with a mug of hot chocolate or champagne. The flat screen satellite TV and music is excellent if you wish to set a soft romantic mood or curl up to a movie. A flatscreen in a hotel??? LUXURY!

As the closest Hotel to Steven's Pass, Pine River Ranch in Leavenworth Washington is the perfect place to add some romance into a ski trip!  They even offer discounted lift tickets! Just ask Tim! That's what we did! IIt was hard to pull me off the hill, that is until I remembered the Jacuzzi tub waiting for me at the hotel!

In the morning we woke up to breakfast in bed!  And this was no ordinary hotel!  Fresh blended smoothie and fruit tray consisting of water mellon, grapes, strawberries and cantaloupe complimented the Homemade country style omelet and potatoes AND Fresh baked coffee cake all delivered to your door!  Yes we did take the entire tray of goodies and snuggled in our bed and dinned like a King and Queen.  This Hotel also has a kitchenette with microwave, refridgerator, coffee-maker and even a Espresso Machine which was great for me because I'm a coffee addict! You just don't find hotels like this anymore!

Locally located in Leavenworth, Washington this is simply the most wonderful hotel we have ever visited and you simply MUST find a weekend to go there! Find out why they are rated the Best Bed and Breakfast in the Northwest by Evening Magazine. This hotel is a can't miss opportunity!

My husband and I found Pine River Ranch looking for a lodge closer to Stevens Pass. We take a yearly trip to Stevens Pass and the drive into Leavenworth after a long day of skiing is so tiring. Pine River Ranch is about 15 minutes outside of Leavenworth (but the drive is so beautiful it seems like 5!) We were so happy we decided to stay there this year. Coming back to the Jacuzzi Spas was the best way to top off a long day and the homemade breakfast delivered right to our suite the next morning was fabulous! We have definitely found our new ski lodge to stay in and we have already reserved a room there for this summer!
