And I sit and wait for the underwriters for a clear to close. Can you believe they are working until 4 p.m. today? I am having a hard time with it. The home has been under contract since early November. Thebuyer is self employed. Self employed are getting it from both sides. The government is out to tax the crap out of them and the underwriters don't trust their income evidently.
Oh, did I mention the original underwriter wasa fired by the mortgage company? I don't know why but he or she was let go. This didn't help matters any. My seller has been more than patient. He really wants to sell this house. He has met just about every one of the buyers requests.
So here I sit and wait for their final answer. Hopefully every one will have the answer they want and a merry Christmas as a result.
