Washougal, WA may be small but we have the Two Rivers Heritage Musem!! It's located right near Pendelton Woolen Mills right off of Hwy 14, which is known as the Lewis and Clark Hwy. This area is also located right next to the new walk tunnel that goes over to the Columbia River and the dike and fishing area. (The fishing dock is a very popular place to catch Salmon and Steelhead. It's also a pretty place to go and just sit and watch the river go by!)
It's really a cute little museum and it packs a powerful punch! It has great historical significance for our community. It has over 6000 photographs and 200 oral histories including pionering families of East Clark County. It also has Native American artifacts, art, antiques and other really cool stuff. I know that this little museum has taken a lot of hard work by dedicated people of Washougal, WA and surrounding areas. Thank you so much for providing this awesome record of our local history!!
