Got a client I have been working with for the last few months. So of course I am ready to get this deal closed. Here is the situation. FHA single family in MS goes up to 200,100 or something like that. Here is my question at that price can you use the Ameridream Downpayment assistance program? Plus does anyone about them getting rid of these programs? Thanks so much guys for your help.

I think those two prior recommendations will have you well fixed. There is a bill in Congress to increase our area loan limit to $417,000. Sure hope it passes. FHA in Southern Calif has all but disappeared since the sub prime lenders came up with their programs from about 2001 too currently 2007. It would be nice to have FHA as a resource back in full swing here in Southern California. Currently those limits are too low for most properties here.

Kathy... I am confused. I read up on this guy Patrick and he talks about being an expert on credit and his business in regards to real estate finance teaching. But nothing about FHA and as an originator. Just curious....
