SACHSE LIBRARY SUMMER READING PROGRAMS
Open to children ages 5 to 12 and preschoolers to age 4 (the Read-to-Me Club), the Sachse Library Summer Reading Program is a fun way to keep the kid's reading skills polished over the summer. All minutes read between June 2 and July 19 are tracked on individual log sheets and totaled at the end of the program. Everyone who participates will receive a certificate and be entered in the prize drawing held on July 26th. First, second and third place winners in three categories: preschool to kindergarten; first to third grade; and fourth grade and up will be awarded special prizes.
Along with the reading program, this year's schedule of presentations is full of fun and informative performers. Each program lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
