I just wanted to share this amazing tool, I am not sure if someone already wrote about this, but it seems a must.

Plaxo 2.0 puts YOU in control

With Plaxo 2.0, you have complete control over your privacy and your information. Create Plaxo cards with the information you want to share with your contacts. YOU decide who can access your cards. Say goodbye to sorting through post-it notes, phone messages, and your inbox to manually update your address book. Once your contacts update their information through Plaxo, it's inserted into your address book, automatically! And it's FREE

Again, it is a free service, have fun !

Ray,

I would be interested to hear more about this from those who use it or not.  In the past, when I get these notices from people, I delete them.  It seems like an invasion of my privacy.

However, I just finished listening to Keith Ferrazzi's who wrote "Never Eat Alone" CD's.  Keith suggested using this program.

So between you and Keith, I guess maybe I should open my mind...

Please folks tell me more.  Should I consider this or not?

Kristal,

I post it , because I receive one today from an agent here from Colorado who is using this service, I decided to fill all my information and submit it.  I have not had any invasion yet. :)   Maybe they will improve it in the near future to do in once on the webpage and it will populate by request of users.

I will start to use it, because I use Outlook for contacts, calendar, sync my PDA.   Just give it a try, we can not loose anything, if you do not like it, just throw it, lets try it.

I love Plaxo because it does keep my contact list updated.

My email is brian@californialoanconnection.com, Ray.

I blogged about Plaxo 6 weeks ago and felt that very few people liked it.

I think it's pretty cool

I had it, then someone told me it is full of adware. I removed it. Maybe it's new an improved. Should I try it?

Brian, as soon as I install it, I will add you,

Karen, I am not sure about the adware, but we can find out with the software called  ad adware, it is very good utility to search for spyware.   I have the pro version, but the normal it can work fine too.

I find Plaxo to be very annoying. I am constantly receiving update request emails from individuals that have added me to their Plaxo account without permission.

I tried downloading it once for the signature feature but my adware/spyware program started alerting me.

No Thank.

carolyn,

Good point of view, I have not had this problem before, so that's my experience, but I can understand how annoying can be.
