Central Oregon attracts visitors, and buyers for the lifestyle we enjoy here. La Pine has a bumper sticker that states "La Pine - Life On The Edge." I have written about that before, today we are going to explore just how far on the edge we like to live.
Most of you may have seen the article on National news about the man who tied 105 balloons to a lawn chair and took of for the wild blue yonder. He was from Bend, Oregon. A business owner and living on the edge. MSN news article can be found here. He did loose his lawn chair which also had his camera on it... now he is offering a reward for the return of it.
There are a few others we have gained fame for, this guy is known for building and launching a rocket in Bend - you can read about him on this Space Website
I think maybe just maybe NASA should consider having a bigger presence here... we either live on the edge, are bored or just really know how to have fun. I prefer to think we like to have fun.
With headlines like this the Central Oregon Real Estate market should be booming again real soon.
