The Coppell Farmers Market was founded in 2003 by a group of volunteer Coppell citizens. The market is overseen by the Coppell Farmers Market Committee, a volunteer Coppell citizen subcommittee of the Coppell Community Garden with support from the City of Coppell. The Coppell Farmers Market offers a venue for local growers, specialty food producers, and agricultural vendors to connect with the community about the value in organic, or sustainable, locally produced food items.
