Each morning Americans wake up to the morning rituals of preparing to go to work. I'm guessing that most have their TV on and are "catching up" on the overnight news. But what they see is worse than water boarding that Congress is so worried about.
First off, we can start with the loud commercials for a new car. What industry makes it a point to pee on their customers each day. Not all commercials are that loud, Please Stop! We can go to the moon, but we can't stop loud commercials. ( I will never buy a new car, your efforts are wasted on me)
If you are interested in the world at all, use any technology at all, then you get these fun things also. On 5 different networks, the same stories, literally verbatim. Not only is the same news, it is repeated for days on end, with "breaking news" headlines attached. Really, is it really news that Obama is going to freeze the salaries of his aids and appointees. All are in government positions because of his election. That means they didn't have the job last year! Who are these thousands of people that we keep up each year in every administration?
Is it news that Bernacke, Geitner and Paulson agree on the way the bailout of AIG came about. Do you really need to think about one or the other throwing each other under the bus. Billions of dollars to AIG who then paid it to the banks? Get real.
How about a company deciding not to sell their product to Iran? Huntsman is no longer going to sell Iran polyurethane! What a stand! Not selling to the enemy! Or Obama increasing spending on education by billions? Are we not spending enough already. Guess some more union teachers need to be paid off for their votes.
And does the country really believe that every news channel should update the nation on a missing Oklahoma girl? What if it was a boy? What if she were ugly?
If I see the teacher hit the half court basketball shot one more time.........
This was just this morning folks... No wonder people start their day mad at the world.
