Talk about a gorgeous home!! We did a virtual tour for Debra Kaufman this week on Lacamas Lake. This house was absolutely beautiful. The custom work in this home is phenomenal. Above the front door they have a sky mural with fir trees that is very unique. I have never seen anything quite like it. I will take a lot of design ideas from this house when we build our own home.
If you would like to see the slide show, click on the link below. Lacamas Lake is accessible from the boat doc. You can rent paddle boats and canoes down at the doc as well. The lake has a long hiking trail with fishing huts along the water. There is also a playground and soccer field to the left of the boat doc that is available for use. During the year, the neighborhood holds several community events including a Fourth of July parade for all of the children to participate in and a potluck pick-nick afterward in the soccer field. We have had the opportunity to participate in several of these events and have had an incredible time.
This is a photo of Lacamas Lake taken from the boat dock. All of the photos I am sharing in this blog were taken with a good old fashioned point and shoot. We took these when my boys were still under 4 feet tall!
This is the parade that they put on every year for the residence to participate in. Everyone has a great time, and they hand out popsicles to all of the kids after the parade is over.
They house to the right is where they rent the paddle boats and canoes. For the potluck, they set up all kinds of activities and contests for everyone of all ages to participate in. They have face painting and balloon designing for the children. There is something for everyone.
This is the waterballoon toss. There are prizes for the top 3 of each contest.
This is the kids sack race. Yes, they have one for us oldies too!
Here is our proud little man after stomping everyone except the little girl who stayed on the line!!
All in all, it is a fun packed day full of great family memories! Add all of this fun to a house like the one that is shown in the slide show below... I must say, not to bad of a deal!!!
