My trip to Cabo San Lucas-Day 1
We crossed the border without incident. I was worried because of all the negative press I had given Janet Napoleano.
I was convinced she had put me on her "no-fly" list. But we were good to go and sailed through.
We hit Seattle early and had some Seattle's "finest" coffee. Honestly, I couldn't discern the difference between that
and Tim Horton's in Canada. I guess each country has its' own hype and bragging rights.
Wife needed a new camera, so we stopped in at several Walmarts and Costcos. One thing is evident.
No one in Washington owns a home. The malls were packed with thousands of people walking around like zombies.
Another thing became evident. Megapixels and zoom factor is not a consideration for some females buying a camera.
The colour is! My wife would rather forego more pixels etc., as long as the camera comes in hot pink.
We didn't buy one; we'll look in Mexico. I was also looking for one of those "blue-something" that clips onto your sun visor and
takes the place of Bluetooth that you stick on your ear. No one had one. They're flying off the shelf, so I suspect you have a
"hands-free" law in Washington now and everybody is getting on board.
Tomorrow we fly out at the ungodly hour of 8:15 which means we have to be up at 4:30 to get the shuttle etc.
It will be worth it in 24 hours when we're sitting around mister pool drinking mister marguaritas.
