Can Jury Duty be good for your real estate business or your "reality" business?

As I sit in the Hennepin County Jury Pool Room in downtown Mpls waiting to be called to another potential Jury. I am grateful for a lot of things, but for my "blogging" purposes I will only mention two, but one of them is a biggy!

One... They have Wi-Fi! Two... It provides me time with a REAL solid reason to evaluate how and why I do business.

I can think of this time as "soul" searching. Or at the very least a time when you are forced to take a brief step out of the daily rat race, and think about how valuable your relationships are. Not just business relationships, I mean all relationships. Relationships with your family, your church, your office, your clients, and those you meet on a daily and ordinary basis.

I am a Christian. I know for some of you, that is a "loaded" statement., or at the very least, the question - What "kind" of Christian are you.....But in reality, at least to me, and biblically, it is one who "believes in" and "follows" Christ. So, for me, my relationship with my Savior comes first, and yet my faith compels me to look deeply into all my other relationships as they effect how they see my faith lived out.

So, I ask anyone reading this blog. What is more important to you....Your bank statement, or if their was such a thing... Your "relationship" statement.  Now what relationship you choose to tackle is your own decision, but my choice would be to start with the one who created you, and cared enough to die for you, so that you could be friends and not enemies with God.

Enough for now, and I hope you read this in the spirit it was written... With the utmost desire to serve God and serve others.

Go Bless,

Stieg Strand
