Re-decorating a 70's style ranch house one room at a time presents several design challenges. My client wants to start with a guest bathroom and work with one room at a time to complete the project. All the doors in the house are a dark wood(I use that term loosely as the doors are not solid). Dark wood and dark paneling are abundant in the house.
Challenge #1: Client wants the interior side of the bathroom door painted a lighter color. What to do with the exterior of the door and the sides?? If I paint the outside of the door, it will stand out like a sore thumb. Jamie Ford, another Staging Diva Stager sent me the below link.
