Too much excitement for this country boy.  I avoid Seattle traffic on normal days and dread having to drive through for these special events.

Larry - I completely understand.  I grew up in Kitsap County with two lane roads.  I never drove on I-5 until I was 25, and avoid traffic at all costs.  I am hoping to save some headaches for people by sharing this information.

We've always wanted to go to the air show and the hydroplane races at Seafair.  But like Larry, and not knowing Seattle very well to begin with, we stay away.  Do you know if the Blue Angels are still on the schedule for the Air Show?

Kathy - I always have gone by boat so I'm in the water and not familiar with what happens on land.  However, this is something amazing to see.  Yes, they are still on schedule for the Air Show each day.  The link is above to check out more details.  I suggest any park on the water would be great for a picnic of at least the air show.  Not sure how to get close enough to see the hydroplane races but I'm sure it says where.

Have a great weekend!

Now, now, now... the Hydro's are the best!!!!  LOUD LOUD LOUD!!!!!

I have to admit that you really can't see much.  The best view is truly from the TV coverage.  But the Blue Angels over head is something I'll never forget!
