Education Committee

By
Real Estate Agent with Long & Foster

I was recently asked to join the Education Committee for the Eastern Panhandle Board of REALTORS. I have been considering getting involved with my local board by volunteering for a committee. What could be a better than contributing to the Realtor Education. Today was my first meeting. Although I am just getting my feet wet, its exciting to see how much the committee already has planned. If you are looking for information about EPBR education check out the website www.epbr.net/education.shtml It is updated constantly with new education opportunities. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks Aaron

As a member of my associations education committee for a couple of years, I found it was stimulating and helped in my business.  You will also be shocked at the level of education and wrong opinions of your fellow Realtors and of the politics that go on.

Aaron,

I've been involved with our association for most of my 20+ years in the business. I am currently on the education, membership and chair our Informed Professional committee (formerly rookie committee) I am also the immediate past president of the association. I have learned so much as well as gotten a tremendous amount of free publicity by being involved. Between being board president and often running membership meetings (get my picture in the paper for that) I am known by a lot of people locally. That kind of exposure would have cost me many thousands of dollars. Stay involved. It will make your career that much better.
