Are you a frustrated seller?

In Delaware some Sellers decide to sell their home on their own.  There could be a variety of reasons for selling your home on your own.  For many of these for sale by owners, it is their first time trying to attempt to sell their home on their own.  With all the factors and mind, selling a home on your own will take a lot of work and require a full-time effort on your part.  If you do not have the time needed to sell your home, you may find that you'll go through a lot less stress and if you hire a real estate agent like myself, you will save time, effort, legal expense, money, and not to mention the added safety and security of not having to show your home on your own.

Every real estate investor I know (mostly) prefers buying homes from people who do not have agents.  Any guesses why?  You know, exactly.  It's because most of these people are trying to negotiate the price of something that they don't have the background to understand (or have time to handle properly).

Guess who's in the position of strength in this case?  Do you think it's the seller?

All of this just so they don't to pay that "needless" commission.  Don't we call that jumping over a dollar to pick up a dime?

Having said this, it's never a bad idea to work with an agent, because a loyal (and smart) agent will provide you the first crack at someone who really is trying to sell his or her home quickly.

Some for sale by owners are succesful but usually not in a position of strength, usually a loss from the lack of knowledge.  Their is a few great books that For Sale By Owners can get if they really think they are up for the full time effort of selling the home.  I also have "Talking House" in which the seller can rent from me if they choose to for just $2 a day.  Their is a small chance they will be successful so I don't spend time trying to insult them and tell them "they can't do it"... it is not what I do, I help them and then in return they may know someone who might be looking to buy or sell with me....and who knows maybe call me later to list the home!

Any seller who is considering selling in Delaware should call me before they decide.  After all you can't beat a FREE call and who knows I will share some great tips with you!
