Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty has created the Sea Coast Realty Foundation
to enhance the quality of life in southeastern North Carolina by providing grants to selected
organizations and charities.“ the foundation, which will be funded
through donations by sea coast realty employees and associates, is part of
the company’s effort to give back to the local community,” said company
president Tim Milam. “We hope to be able to begin making grants in the next
few months.” the new foundation continues a company tradition of supporting local
charities and community organizations. Both the company and its individual
associates have donated time, talent, and significant financial support – in the
hundreds of thousands of dollars – since the company began in 1994.
the foundation will be overseen by a board of directors and bylaws will
govern operation of the foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under
the federal tax code .“we have had the privilege of helping thousands of people buy and
sell property in southeastern North Carolina over the past twelve years,
and we wanted to find a way to show our appreciation and to support the
community,” Milam said. “We think the foundation is an excellent way to do
both.” an organization logo featuring twin dolphins will emphasize the helpful
nature of the foundation and its association with the sea coast of North Carolina.
