I like baseball because its American from top to bottom. I like baseball because for those who are the best at it it requires complete and constant dedication from a young age. Baseball at its most difficult levels requires one no matter how talented to depend on those around him and that dependance requires the ability to look outside of oneself and trust.
I like basbeall because no matter how talented one may be if his leadership skills are weak his talent can not carry him through to the ultimate goal. He must work within the framework of the team.
I like baseball because it requires dedication and commitment that so often is lost in todays society and with that come the need for teamwork and the motivation of others to push those around you to desire the next level.
Baseball is a team sport, it is 25 guys working toward a goal that is shared by all.
