No Proxy Errors! No Bad Gateways! The New Servers Seem to Be Working!

Well, as one of our fearless leaders, Bob Stewart, has Kudos to Bob Stewart, and the rest of the ActiveRain staff for listening to our cries for help...and worked to rectify the problem!promised, the new servers are in...and seem to be working!
When I logged on this morning, ActiveRain opened right up... with surprisingly fast speed.

I was able to make my comments, read posts from some of my favorite bloggers, and, best of all, I was able to do it all without any of the dreaded proxy errors or bad gateways we've been experiencing while AR went through another growth spurt!

Please send kudos to Bob and the rest of the ActiveRain staff for hearing our pleas for help and for working towards making ActiveRain, once again, the place we've all come to know and love.

Let's noit sing all the praises too soon. I have already encountered the Apaches with red hats, gateways that are bad, that dreaded proxy error, and a bit slow to respond. Maybe a call to Terminex to get the 'bugs' out is in order.

I had the same experience, Craig, and immediately sent Bob an email to thank him.  I am sure by now you know that it was delayed until tonight and he warned me I would have problems during the day.  Sure enough we all have.  But, as I mentioned in another post, it must be psychological.

I love the picture of Bob serving.  That is a great creation.  But, as much as I am keeping a good thought about it, I am still getting proxy errors and bad gateways.  It may take some time for the new servers to work. I certainly hope they kick in soon.

Craig, lets not get ahead of ourselves here...like Lenn, I'm still getting those errors several last night and today, although, I was able to post a couple of comments this morning fairly quickly and thought all was right with the world...and then crash...error after error.  This afternoon the process does seem to be better though.

Lottie - The fix is in! We should be good to go once the bugs and kinks have been worked out. At least I hope so! And, thank you for your kind words Lottie. It's comments like yours that make my efforts seem worthwhile. If my readers are smiling, then I'm doing something right!
