Mother's Day All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast in Hollywood
The Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad is holding this breakfast at their Rescue Squad building (on Rte 235, Hollywood, MD) from 7:30-11am.  Included on the menu will be sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, potatoes, scrambled eggs, juice, coffee, tea and more.  The cost is only $8 for adults, $4 for kids 5-12 and free to children under 5.

All-You-Can-Eat Mother's Day Breakfast in Valley Lee
The 2nd District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad will be holding their own all-you-can-eat breakfast in honor of Mother's Day from 8-11am at their offices (intersection of MD State Rte 249 & Drayden Rd, Valley Lee, MD).  Their menu includes coffee, milk, juice, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage links, ham, french toast and much more.  The cost for the VFD & RS Mother's Day breakfast is $8 for adults, $4 for kids 6-12 and free to all kids under 6 years old.

Mother's Day at Chapman State Park
The Friends of Chapman State Park will be holding an open house to celebrate all mothers in the Southern Maryland area from 1-5pm at Chapman State Park (3452 Ferry Rd, Indian Head, MD).  Bring your own food for a nice picnic by the Potomac.  Enjoy photos capturing the history of the area and a narrative by Elmer Biles at 2pm, a concert by the Suzuki Violins at 3pm, a nature walk at 3:45pm and make your very own Mother's Day card at the crafts table.  The event is free, but donations are accepted.  For more info, please call 301-753-6754 or visit the Chapman State Park website.

Mother's Day Outing at Myrtle Point Park
Myrtle Point Park in California, MD, will be holding its annual Mother's Day Outing on Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 1-3pm.  Bob Boxwell will lead all participants on a leisurely stroll around the park, giving you the opportunity to take in all the beauty nature provides, including birds, flowers and anything else that catches your fancy.  For more info, please call Bob Boxwell at 410-394-1300.
