Overseas Federal Employees Tax Credit Extension!

Did you know the First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit has been extended for those U.S. military and other federal employees servicing outside the U.S.? That's right - those that qualify have an additional year to apply the up to $8000 tax credit so many took advantage of this past year! The credit applies to any individual (and, if married, the individual's spouse) who serves on qualified official extended duty service outside of the United States for at least 90 days during the period beginning after December 31, 2008 and ending before May 1, 2010.
