I had a bad attitude yesterday and I read this post from my friend Wanda. It was what I needed. Today is going to be a great day.

Via Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - St. George, Utah Realtor® (Prado & Kramer Real Estate, St. George, UT 435.632.9374):

The ability to shift your focus is key to seeing another point of view.

When taking photos, I was standing while taking multiple shots to get the best picture but when I squatted down, my entire view changed and I was still able to center my attention on these flowers while seeing far beyond what was right in front of me.

And to think I could have missed this beautiful view had I not changed my focus and direction.

Thankful Thursdays: Looking beyond what is right in front of you.

Cal,

Even for those veterans of this business, it seems like many are reevaluating things professionally, in light of the difficulties.  Sometimes, the days are just plain hard.  Glad to see you're rallying with optimism today.

Gorgeous Desert Blooms by Wanda!  I love St George, it is some of the most beautiful real estate across the whole entire country (IMHO).  We go out that way to a national park nearby about 4-5x a year!

This reminds me of the saying "what we focus on becomes our reality." This gift from nature would brighten anyone's day.

houlton me home for saleYou are so right about the angle of a shot. Sometimes the neighboring owners handy work in the flower garden, coupled with a wide angle, and getting flat on the ground lands a shot that is not the same dog and pony process other brokers use. If every agent, REALTOR stands 50 feet back, with the camera 5 feet off the ground for a straight on shot, all the properties start to look the same, getting the same treatment. Climb trees, shoot out neighboring windows, hitch a ride in an ultra light to get better show stopping shots, eye candy to flirt with the buyer. Get his/her attention and desire to leap in to action to consider buying this new listing with your sign planted out front. The angle, perspective is everything on real estate, your life.
