The 4th of July weekend is quickly approaching! A week from today is July 4th, so this weekend you'll be sure to find great firework shows in the Poconos!
Saturday July 3rd at 7pm, Shawnee Mountain will display their Independence Day Fireworks. There are vendors, a DJ and a BBQ beginning at 7pm. The fireworks display is at dusk, approximately 9pm. The cost is $10 a car-load, and benefits the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company.
Sunday July 4th, 2pm-9pm, East Stroudsburg is holding its annual Freedom Festival at Dansbury Park. Local non-profit groups, artists, businesses, and other institutions will be present to show the community what they have been up to all year. there will be rides for children, and many food vendors! There is also a stage for live music! Then around 9:15pm, the fireworks display can be seen from both sides of the Brodhead Creek!
Saturday July 3rd, Camelback Mountain in Tannersville will host their annual fireworks display at the Mountain at dusk. Parking fees are donated to the Pocono Township Volunteer Fire company.
