How Soon We Forget...

Real Estate Delaware County PARecently Doug was going back to his car after leaving a store and he noticed a woman standing near her car with packages in her hands looking very befuddled.  She saw Doug and asked, "Oh can you please help me, I can not open my car, my remote is not working".  Doug kept a straight face to hide his chuckle inside, as he said, "Did you try your key?".

A key what the heck is that?  My car doesn't have a key.  So I'm hosed if I can't find the remote.

That is funny - I'm so use to spell check I can't write with out it anymore.  Your right, we do forget quickly.

Thanks for this lovely story.  The world has changed in so many ways.  We are in Ocean Reef, Florida and our rental has a button to start it, and the key has to stay in the car, but separate...we were befuddled for a moment, but we are not on top of it.

I seen a locksmith trying to open a car door once and the window on the other side of the car was open.  I opened the door and asked.."Does this help at all?"

It is a changing world. My husband's new car sets off an alarm if you open the door with the key and not the remote. William's story above is hilarious. Thank you, both for putting a little laughter in my evening.

That is too funny!  I have to admit that my remote didn't work a few weeks ago and in the first few seconds I thought "oh no!" and then just used my key but for a minute.....

When you haven't used it forever you definitely tend to forget.  Thanks for the laugh!
