Only 5 years ago, there was not much built on the stretch of Highway 380 from Denton, TX to McKinney. This was about 45 miles of highway between the 2 cities. It was mostly farm land back then.

Today it looks very different. Super neighborhoods along HWY 380 with complete resort style amenity centers, weight centers, swimming pools, water slides, and water falls are common. Why would anyone need to go to Disney Land? These Master-Planned Communities are so large that they have actually built small lakes and several school buildings inside of the neighborhoods.

In another 5 years, I would not be suprised to see Denton and McKinney connected with continuous Master Planned Communities. The Community of Savannah is one of the nicest MPCs in D/FW (Dallas, Fort Worth metro area). The continuation of the toll road to Highway 380 will help the area develop even further!

North Texas is a great investment area. New home construction for less than $80 a sq.ft. is readily available in communities like Savannah. Investing in an area before the infrastructure is completed can pay big dividends on future appreciation.
