My friend Elizabeth Woda just discovered, in her celebration of National Hot Dog Month, that Five Guys makes an awesome hot dog.  Make sure to treat yourself to one this summer at the Gainesville, VA Five Guys.  It won't be your first.

Five Guys, Gainesville is located in the Atlas Walk Shopping Center.  If you drive by GPS, like I do, their address is 7321 Atlas Walk Way, Gainesville, VA 20155.  If you want to call ahead and have your hot dog ready to pick up when you arrive, call 703-753-8803 about ten minutes before you arrive.

Hot Dog at Five Guys in Crofton MD

You are looking at a bacon cheese dog with onions, ketchup, mustard, and fries.  Believe me, it tasted as good as it looks!

 

Five Guys in Crofton MDFive Guys is relatively new to the Crofton Md area, and I decided to visit there for the first time after reading Rich Iarossi's Activerain post about a year ago (Sorry, Rich, I can't find it now to include a link).  If you've never visited a Five Guys near you, you simply don't know what you're missing.

There are several locations near Crofton, including Bowie, Odenton and Annapolis Mall.  In fact, this one is technically in Gambrills at 1131-A Rt. 3 North (Carver Square), not Crofton - but sometimes it's hard to know exactly where one zipcode stops and the other starts.

It's not too late fo YOU to celebrate National Hot Dog Month at Five Guys.

 

WARNING:  Anyone with peanut allergies should stick with McDonalds because Five Guys not only cooks in peanut oil, they offer free peanuts to customers while they wait.  Way too dangerous for anyone allergic to peanuts or even someone who lives with a family member allergic to peanuts!

 

Be sure to check out these other Crofton Restaurants and Carryouts.  Crofton is located about a half hour from Fort George G. Meade, the U.S. Naval Academy and Andrews AFB and it's worth the short drive for you to visit our community and our businesses if you live or work at those nearby military installations.

How funny I just noticed this post.  I have NEVER heard of FIVE GUYS....until yesterday, that is.  My son was working in Thousand Oaks here in California, and went there for lunch.  Says it is GREAT!  So, hopefully one will come to a city near me soon.  Yum!

Jean:  Their hamburgers are fabulous too.  Just make sure you understand when you do go that a "Little Cheeseburger" is one patty.  A "Cheeseburger" is two.  That and one order of fries can feed a family of four.
