Mortgage Companies..Who do you trust?

Just a quick post before I go show another home in the area. I'm quite concerned after my last encounter (if you read my nightmare blog)about the state of the mortgage industry in general. How do we know who to trust and who not to? Seems like less than a year ago no problem. But with all the crack down and companies closing their doors... who do I tell buyers to go to? As always your input is important. Thanks in advance for your guidance.
