I recently took over an expired listing, which had been a rental. The photos on the MLS were horrendous! Cluttered, dark, blurry...furniture and clutter everywhere, stacks of papers, even bikes, hoola hoops and a dart board over the fireplace!
After much work, the place was emptied, walls were patched and painted and it went back on the market. It sat empty for a month until I was able to convince the seller that the home needed staging. Furniture was rented, the home was beautifully stage and photographed, and we received an offer at the very next open house!
