ROCHESTER — The Rochester Rotary's "Back-to-School Clothing Give-Away" is taking place this Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Rochester Community Center.
The event is open to all Rochester area families with school-aged children and is being held in Community Room from 10 am to 2 pm.. Due to long waiting lines at last year’s event, this year attendees will be able to register ,starting at 8 am, and will then be assigned a specific time to return between 10 am and 2 pm to “shop.”
Identification will be required only for verification that the registrant and the family returning later are the same individuals. Attendees should also be aware that entrance to the event will be only through the interior of the building, no entry will be allowed through the back doors from the parking lot.
Thanks to the generosity of Rochester Rotary Charities and Bootlegger's Footwear, 200 footwear vouchers will be given away on a first come, first served basis. There will be a maximum of only one voucher per family.
