Catawba Valley Community College Offers Dog Obedience Class

Catawba Valley Community College's Continuing Education Division

will offer basic dog obedience training on

Thursdays, September 16 through October 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

This class is an effective way to socialize dogs, learn park etiquette, meet new dog owners and get some little exercise, too.

Dogs must be at least five months old.  Dogs with aggression problems are not accepted.  An up-to-date vaccination record, including distemper, rabies and bordetella, is required.

The first class meeting on September 16 is an orientation session for students only; no dogs.  All other classes will be held outdoors at Southside Park in Newton.  Cost is $50.
