Wow- 14.5%! We're at 9.2% here. And don't you think it's interesting that those numbers don't include the self employed people / small business people whose income dried up with our economy?
Ouch, we are not that high in Phoenix, but coming over to this desert will probably not make them happy either. Sounds like the best way is to get 'one of them federal government jobs. Heard they pay real good!'
Yep. I agree with that statement. I get a call every couple weeks from someone who is here in the Dallas area who use to live in Navada.
Lost their job, home, dog, whatever and moved from Nevada because everything there is in the crapper (according to them). Ironically they want me to help them find a place to live. No job or min wage job, bad credit, short sale people, living out of their suv. It's hard. They become other state's unemployment statistics.
I do not think that will be good for Real Estate Sales. Finding work in the state would help the whole matter.
